Eddie Soens Race 2013

It was a beautiful morning for the Eddie Soens Race.
Chilly but clear blue skies!
Here are the race photos.

An enjoyable afternoon at the cinema in St Helens with good friend Julie.
We watched the musical Les Miserables and thought that it was excellent!
Great acting and singing by a great cast.
A long film at 158 mins but it flew by.
All the cast were excellent but my favourite performances
were by Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and the young
Manx talent, Samantha Barks. Somebody else for the
Isle of Mann to be proud of along with the Bee Gees
and of course cycling talents Mark Cavendish, Pete Kennaugh
and Mark Christian of Team Raleigh.

A Walk in the Park

Orrell Water Park, where the snow drifts are now streams and the trees are wearing lichens not leaves.
Old friend the mud is back again! . . . . . . "Bags not bathing Charlie!!" His hairy little cairn terrier legs don't raise his body high enough off the ground to avoid the mud and water!!
